Janette Rigby-Sammut will be the Feature Artist at Kurnell Gallery during the month of August where she will have a large range of paintings for sale. She has been painting in all mediums for 30 years. Exhibited in numerous exhibitions local, interstate and has work presently hung overseas in many countries, successful entrant for the Camberwell Gold Medal Art show in Victoria for traditional and abstract art in 1996 and 2010 and been a feature artist at many local events and exhibited at the Wentworth Hotel Gallery Sydney.
During this time she opened her own art school known then as Karimbla Art studio, which now operates as Sutherland Shire Creative Art School and has children and adults painting, drawing in a relaxed personalized friendly atmosphere with her studio located in a pleasant garden setting at her home. Some of her students have received awards from Governor General of NSW and also teaches people with disabilities. Has demonstrated for charities her work and donated many a painting.
